The upcoming Lisbon Blockchain Conference is gearing up to offer founders an avenue to pitch their startups to potential investors.

In an April 22 statement, the conference organizers said one of the side events will be a “closed door” pitching competition, allowing crypto startups to showcase their ideas to potential investors.

Distinguished judges for the pitch competition include industry experts such as Subvisual CEO Robert Machado and AgileGTM General Partner Fillipo Chisari, alongside crypto hedge fund manager Francisco Quartin de Macedo.

Their diverse backgrounds in product development, venture capital, and investment management promise a thorough evaluation of all pitches.

AgileGTM Capital powers the competition, and applications will close by midnight GMT on April 23.

Other side events

Meanwhile, the blockchain event promises a comprehensive, wholesome experience for investors and founders alike, with other side events powered by AgileGTM Capital.

These events will kick off with an exclusive investor-only breakfast at the Nova School of Business & Economics in collaboration with VNTR Capital, ensuring a fruitful start to the proceedings.

Other events scheduled for the day include a networking opportunity set against the scenic backdrop of the Nova rooftop. It offers a relaxed environment for meaningful interactions between investors and founders.

Portugal-based Nova SBE Blockchain Club is hosting the Lisbon Blockchain Conference’s fourth edition. This year’s theme is “learning and networking,” which promises to provide an exciting opportunity for students to build better networks within the emerging industry.

The event includes an impressive lineup of speakers and sponsors, including Ripple, Nova Entrepreneurship Institute, Nova Data Science Knowledge Center, and Real Fevr.
